Regional Safety & Health Manager Northern Europe
For our headquarters in Breda we are looking for an Regional Health & Safety Manager Northern Europe.
As Regional Health & Safety Manager Northern Europe, you play a key role in shaping and leading our safety culture across all operational sites in Northern Europe. You will develop, implement, and maintain Safety & Health policies, ensure compliance with laws and regulations, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across our 11 factories. Your mission is to build a zero-accident organisation by embedding safety at every step and at every level. You act as a strategic partner to Plant- and operational Managers, combining clear vision with hands-on execution on the floor.
Your main tasks and responsibilities
- Develop and implement Health & Safety policies, procedures, and life-saving rules across all sites;
- Identify and assess shop-floor risks and drive risk-reduction measures;
- Build a proactive safety culture by coaching and influencing leaders and employees;
- Monitor and improve safety performance (including TRIR) using benchmarks and best practices;
- Conduct incident investigations and share learnings across the organisation;
- Lead audits and inspections, based on facts and observations;
- Stay current with laws and regulations and ensure organisational compliance;
- Liaise with governmental bodies on safety matters when required;
- Design and deliver training, workshops, and safety campaigns to raise awareness and competence;
- Actively engage employees at all levels to foster a sense of ownership and accountability.
